Towards the end of 2022, the founder of His Cherished Ones reached out to VCG for assistance with their brand. They had a solid foundation in terms of their operations, mission, and purpose. Therefore, my primary goal was to refine and update their brand.
HCO is a non-profit orphanage operating in Kenya. Their programs aim to create a nurturing environment for children while they await placement in permanent homes. Additionally, part of their mission involves equipping future families with the tools necessary to establish a strong family foundation. When creating their logo, my objective was to reflect their mission.
The logo symbolizes the layers of love surrounding African children. Drawing inspiration from a rejected logo I had designed for a previous client, we worked closely with His Cherished Ones to finalize the design, resulting in the logo below.
